This is Shaman, previously well known as Morris.  Barn name changed to reflect his new position as herd sire and  Foundation sire for all future foals of Shapeshifter Miniatures. 

 

After I purchased my first few minis I decided to dedicate my breeding to quality foals of specific coloring.  So I searched for a stallion of outstanding quality,  a snowcap appaloosa,  carrying the silver gene,  with a pedigree showing multiple  National, World and Supreme winning horses in the pedigree. Horses known in the breed as reproducing as good as, or better than, themselves.

 

It took me a few months before I found him.  Then it took me another 18 months to convince the owner to sell him to me.  I had to wait til he produced a colt to replace him.  And in 2014 he produced 2.

 

I will be forever grateful to Anna Peranich of Silver Lining Miniatures to allow me to purchase my dream stallion.  And to the CCMF family for having the wisdom to breed CCMF I'm All That to one of their top producing mare's Cyrson's Morning Star.

 

CCMF I'm All That (Shaman's sire) and his sire Lucky Four Links Goldstrike (Shaman's grandsire) have both been sold and shipped overseas.  So there will be no more sons or daughters born in the US from these 2 outstanding stallions.
