So months of preparations.  Looking at websites.  Going thru the sales sites to find a matching stallion...  Finding out the one you want is not available to outside mares.   Oh no, this really great one has been gelded because they have stopped breeding.   This one has been leased.  This one shipped overseas.  That beautiful moving one has died.  Finally, FINALLY, you find just the right ones.  Arranging the breeding is a snap compared to finding the right stallion. And now the wait.  and wait......  wondering about the color.....  hummm wonder if it will be a filly or colt....  will it be the size of the mom or dad....  hoping it has the disposition of your favorite mare.
